About Gilligan Motorsport
A family team punching far above its weight across two Irish championships.
Started in a shed. Aiming for the top step.
Gilligan Motorsport is what happens when two brothers refuse to accept that rallying is only for big budgets. Zach drives, Josh calls the notes, and everything else — the engineering, the logistics, the late nights — is done by a small crew of family and friends who believe in the project.
The weapon of choice is the Citroën C2: a nimble, front-wheel-drive giant-killer that rewards absolute commitment — a car Zach spent three years building before it ever turned a wheel in anger. It made its debut at the 2025 Sligo Stages, backed up by testing at Ballykelly.
2026 is the brothers' first full season side by side. It started the hard way — an accident on stage three of the Mayo Stages ended the opener early and meant a full rebuild. They got the car back together and got their reward at the Circuit of Munster: a first finish as a crew, 84th overall and 6th in Class 11F. No shortcuts, no fairytales — just graft.
We compete on two fronts — the Triton National Rally Championship and the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship — and we bring our partners along for every kilometre of the journey: on the car, on our channels and in the service park.

What drives us
Team Values
Support local
We want to support local charities and businesses any way we can — and we hope local businesses would want to support us too.
Family built
Every wheel nut is torqued by someone who cares. That's our unfair advantage.
Bring people along
Rallying is Ireland's best-kept secret. We tell its story so more people fall in love with it.
